The plant design can be extended with further separation-units which separate through other separation-media (f.i. brine) the gained heavy-fraction. This heavy-fraction of PS, PET, PVC, for instance, might be suspended with brine of a density of 1,25 g/cm3 (12) and pumped in a second separation-cylinder (2). There the PS with its density of less than 1,25 g/cm3 will flew out as light-fraction (8) and thus separated from the heavy-fraction of PET/PVC (7). |
